Traci's Journey

My name is Traci and I am a recovered addict alcoholic.

This journey will briefly explain the darkness of addiction and also the return to the light. I am not a writer, a poet or anything of that sort. I am just a person who went to the core of alcoholism and drug addiction.

In my return to the light, I was blessed to have a tiny person come with me. You see, he had accompanied me through the last 9 months of darkness. It was not his choice to be with me nor mine. I think, if I would have been capable of a choice at that time, I would have chose death. It is hard to say. For whatever reasons, we are both here. 

Some say it is a miracle and I like to think of it that way myself. I choose to tell of my journey as it has affected many people along the way. It may be sporadic in parts, as my mind was severely warped at times. If one person reads this journey and gets something out of it, then telling it has meaning.
